Every Saturday and Sunday, May through Oct there is a significant amount of parachute activity, formation flights and aerobatic flights over and in the vicinity of the FlyingCircusAirport. The airport is a private field located approximately 2 miles south of the WarrentonAirport (W66). Most participating aircraft do not have radios or transponders. (see graphic below)
Instructors - We ask that you make your students aware of this area, as a place to avoid on weekends.
Visitors – We encourage all those that wish to attend the Flying Circus Airshow to plan to land at Warrenton (W66) where we can provide ground transportation (call 540-439-8661 to arrange transportation to/from the airshow). Please do NOT land at the Flying Circus Airfield without prior permission.
